Lead artist and designer for the product line, trained art staff in style reproduction techniques, materials, and application. High volume production environment for national distributors, customized for decorator specified size and color. Designed 57 original works that went to market at their HighPoint showrooms. Maintaining an efficient, safe production line insured the highest quality original artworks were being shipped in a timely manner. Processes included painting, illustration, silk-screening, watercolor, air-brush, acrylic, 3D mixed media constructions, charcoal, plaster casting, etching, fabrics, acrylics and oil paintings plus.
BENNETT SCULPTURE GALLERY Gallery Manager – Sarasota, FL – 1986-1989 – 1 of 9 Corporate Galleries nationally One of nine national, corporate, high-end vanity galleries noted for their matching austere interiors with polished bronze sculpture where I managed the location for an absentee owner. Responsible for all daily sales, facility and staff operations. In promotion of twin male internationally known artists, I was often utilized by corporate to support sales efforts at on-location celebrity event exhibits. I built a relationship with Hyatt Regency to bring Bennett Sculpture exhibits into their lobbies as the event host hotel, including NYC for Art Expo/AdvenStar events. Trained at Bennett Foundry to learn their process from the creation of clay maquettes and life-size figures to molds, casting, finishes, polishing and installation processes.
